Your enquiry

When you contact us, we process your contact details, messages and any photos, measurements and product preferences you send. We use these details to answer your enquiry, advise you and prepare a personalised quote. The website has no photo-upload or online-payment feature.

WhatsApp and email

WhatsApp is provided as a link only. Opening a link takes you to WhatsApp and may pass the prepared message text to it. A message reaches us only when you send it yourself in WhatsApp. WhatsApp processes data under its own privacy policy. Alternatively, contact us by email, phone or post.

WhatsApp privacy policy

Emails sent to shop@blindninja.ch are forwarded to our inbox through Forward Email. The forwarding service and our email provider process the message and connection data needed for delivery and handling.

Website and hosting

This website is hosted on Railway. Railway may process technical access data such as IP address, timestamp, requested URL and browser details to serve the website, troubleshoot errors and prevent abuse. Our web server does not keep its own access logs. GoDaddy manages our domain and the HTTPS redirect from blindninja.ch to www.blindninja.ch; this may also involve processing technical connection data.

We use GitHub to manage the source code and trigger deployments on Railway. Visiting this website does not require a GitHub account. The website embeds no GitHub content or trackers, and its code does not send visitor data to GitHub.

The website code includes no analytics or marketing trackers. Fonts and images load from the same hosting service. Light and colour choices are carried in URL parameters when you switch languages, so they may appear in browser history and technical access logs. The website uses no cookies or local browser storage for this. The hosting or sign-in service may use its own technically necessary storage mechanisms.

Privacy notice on your device

When you close this notice, we save its version identifier in your browser’s local storage (blindninja.privacy.seen). It contains no contact details and is not sent to us. This prevents the same notice appearing on every visit. A changed version will be shown again. The entry remains until you clear this site’s data or it is replaced by a new version. If local storage is blocked, the notice may appear on every page.

Recipients and international processing

When you visit the website and depending on your chosen contact method, data is processed by the hosting, domain, email or communications providers described above. Our Railway server runs in the Europe region (the Netherlands). Providers operate internationally; further processing outside Switzerland, particularly in the United States and Ireland, is possible. The policies below explain each provider’s processing and safeguards. The GitHub link relates to managing and publishing the website code.

Retention and your rights

We retain enquiry data for as long as needed to handle the enquiry, a subsequent business relationship or statutory retention requirements.
